Biographical Sketch
Major General Sayed Aman Sadaat is the Deputy Chief of Border Police of Afghanistan, Ministry of Interior. In that post, MG Sadaat is responsible for managing government campaigns against narcotics dealers, gangs, as well as lawless groups and individuals involved in crimes such as human smuggling and trafficking of narcotics. Prior to his current post, MG Sadaat worked for the Deputy Minister of Interior as the Chief of Planning in charged of controlling customs, immigration and border affairs. From 1997 to 2001, he fought in the vanguards of operations against the Taliban Regime in different parts of northern Afghanistan. He was a local public servant for four years from 1993 to 1997 as the Governor of Kabul. MG Sadaat graduated with degrees in Law and Political Science from Kabul University. He also took courses from a military academy and participated in police and law enforcement trainings.
