HE is the Minister of State for National Security in the Iraqi Government. Among the agencies under his supervision is the Ministry of Transport Agency.
He represented Iraq in a number of leagues that include the Arab League Conference which drafted the national reconciliation program and the Arab Transport Ministers of the Arab League in 2007.
HE also became part of several Iranian international conferences and served as member of the tripartite committee in the Turkish-Iraq-American summit.
HE has a Masteral Degree in Public International Law from the Oxford University. He currently serves as the president of Huda Charitable Foundation for humanitarian action

He is a Minister of State for National Security in the first permanent Iraqi government. His responsibility includes the Ministry of Transport Agency in the current Iraqi Government.
He represents Iraq at the Arab League Conference to draft national reconciliation. He is Iraq’s representative at the Arab Transport Ministers of the Arab League in 2007. He is also a representative of Iraq in several Iranian International themes and in tripartite committee in the Turkish-Iraqi-American theme PKK.
HE Al-Waili is the president of Huda Charitable Foundation for Humanitarian action.
He is a member of the Engineers Association Iraqis and member of the Union of Iraqi Jurists. He was a resident engineer at Umm Qasr in 1980 – 1982 and was a first lieutenant engineer.
In 1991, he was arrested after his position in the uprising in 1991 at Alchabanih. He was the Chairman of the first municipal council in Dhi Qar in 2003.
HE is an Iraqi National Assembly member from the list of the United Iraqi Alliance candidate and the Islamic Dawa Party – the organization of Iraq. He is a constitutional committee member and vice chairman of the Committee for Construction and Services.
HE is also a member of the Cairo Conference of the national dialogue through the Iraqi National Assembly and of the Board of Deputies of the Second session (the United Iraqi Alliance list).
His researches and studies include Sharia law and economic feasibility of projects. At present, HE is a contract engineering consultant. HE Al-Waili is an electrical engineer from 1978-1979. He was a former brigadier general of the army. He obtained his MA in Public International Law from University of Oxford.
