George P. Sigalos is a trained attorney and journalist currently acting as a consultant lobbyist in Washington, D.C. As the former Director of Government Relations for Halliburton – KBR, Mr. Sigalos served as KBR’s political liaison with the US and foreign Governments, acting in a strategic role to help guide the company’s national and international posture in the legislative and political arenas. Mr. Sigalos maintained an active rapport with the US Congress and executive agencies, with Ambassadors, Diplomatic Corps, and other leaders of foreign governments. Mr. Sigalos is also the former Counsel to the President and Director of Public Affairs for the former federal contractor organization, Contract Services Association of America of Washington, D.C., which represented small, medium, and large companies doing business in the federal marketplace. Prior, Mr. Sigalos served on Capitol Hill as Counsel and Director of Communications for the Vice-Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. There, he worked in a senior caucus capacity and participated in numerous leadership strategy meetings. His previous federal experience includes serving as an extern law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit in Boston, Massachusetts, and in press affairs for three members of the presidential cabinet during the Reagan and Bush I Administrations. He is a frequent writer, has a significant published portfolio, delivers speeches and addresses on government, politics, and policy, and has lectured at universities. Mr. Sigalos holds a BA in government and journalism from American University in Washington, D.C., and a JD from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts.
